Description
Senna Siamea is commonly known as kasood and it is an ornamental tree. It is a medium-sized, evergreen tree growing up to 18 m (60 ft). Leaves are alternate, pinnately compound, with a slender, green-reddish, tinged axis and 6 to 12 pairs of leaflets on short stalks, rounded at both ends. Flowers are Yellow in color.
Environment
Senna Siamea requires full sun and normal watering. It is suited for soils which are Sandy to clay loam.
Landscape Uses
Grown as an ornamental and frequently planted along the sides of the road.
