Description
Echeveria purpusorum is a small slow growing plant, up to 3.1 inch tall, with succulent rosettes, up to 3.1 inch in diameter. The leaves are crowded, ovate, up to 1.6 inches long and up to 1 inch wide, deep olive-green, grey-green or white-green and mottled with irregular small reddish-brown spots. The red-orange flowers sprout on a up to 8 inches (20 cm) long stem.
Environment
One of the most versatile variety, this species flourishes best in bright light of a full sun. It has average Water Needs. Watering needs to be done when the soil becomes dry to touch in summer season and should not be watered during the winters.; It requires a porous soil with good drainage for a healthy growth.
These decorative little plants can be grown in interesting containers such as tea cups and even miniature baby shoes. Make sure the container had adequate drainage. If it doesn t, it might be a good idea to pop the plant out of its container and add a layer of gravel to the bottom to reduce the wicking action of the soil above.
