Malta is a blood orange-colored fruit grown in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It's a winter fruit with an orange-like color and looks. During the British Empire, it was known as the "Maltese orange."
Malta is also reported to enhance the immune system and be useful in the treatment of pneumonia, high blood pressure, stomach, and intestinal issues, and ailments caused by a lack of vitamin C.
The peel is used in face masks to treat acne and other skin conditions, while the seeds are used to make high-protein cattle feed and fertilizers.
