Description
This cross between P. edulis, P. incarnarta and P. cincinnata is far superior to others with similar parentage not only in flower color, but also size. It is over 4" in diameter.
P.Inspiration is one of the most hardy passifloras to date.This is a fast growing vine upto 10 feet or more which produces abundant flowers in winters and continues to flower on and off throught the year.The flowers are followed by small edible passion fruits.
Environment
Full sun, a southern exposure, is necessary for optimum growth and flowering. If flowers fail to open, it is usually due to insufficient light.
Bring the soil to a state of visual dryness between waterings. When watering, thoroughly saturate the soil until a little water runs out of the bottom of the pot. Growing in a clay pot will help maintain a healthy root system
