Description

Amethyst Stars is very attractive bushy, small to medium size shrub, everblooming with bright pinkish-lavender or off-pink 1" five-petaled flowers resemble stars, hence the common name Shooting Stars. Requires frequent pruning, otherwise becomes leggy. Lower leaves tend to drop, but when pruned, new growth forms nice dense shrub.

This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds.

Requires consistently moist soil; do not let dry out between watering.
