Description
Echeveria lilacina is a very attractive, slow growing Echeveria, up to 6 inches tall. The leaves are silvery-grey, spoon shaped, fleshy and arranged in a symmetrical rosette, up to 10 inches in diameter. Lilacina has a lovely pale gray rosettes with touches of pink. Rosette gives the impression of alabaster wax suffused with violet.
Flowers are pale pink or coral-colored. They emerge on small short arching racemes on the top of reddish stems of about 6 inches.
Environment
One of the most versatile variety, this species flourishes best in bright light of a full sun. . it has average Water Needs. Watering needs to be done when the soil becomes dry to touch in summer season and should not be watered during the winters.; It requires a porous soil with good drainage for a healthy growth.
These decorative little plants can be grown in interesting containers such as tea cups and even miniature baby shoes. Make sure the container had adequate drainage. If it doesn t, it might be a good idea to pop the plant out of its container and add a layer of gravel to the bottom to reduce the wicking action of the soil above.
