Description

Ipomoea Quamoclit is commonly known as Cypress vine and Climber. It is an annual or perennial, herbaceous, twining vine growing 3-10 feet tall. The leaves are 1-4 inches long, deeply lobed, with 9-19 lobes on each side of the leaf. The flowers are 1-2 inches long and 1 inch in diameter, trumpet-shaped with five points and can be red, pink or white.

Environment

Ipomoea Quamoclit flourishes in full sun and moist, well-drained soil also grows well in partial shade and dry soils. Water the soil around the vine, and keep the soil moist to the touch until the vine starts growing vigorously.
