A cluster forming species, this solitary growing plant has multiple branches. This plant has a round globular shape stem with woolly bristles.
A slow-growing species, M. Longimamma grows without difficulty when supplied with a required amount of water and ventilation. Watering needs to carefully monitored and only done when the soil is dry to touch and not in the winter season. If kept outside it requires the afternoon shade, and bright light if kept inside.
It is an excellent plant for garden rockery settings, desert type landscapes, patios and botanical gardens
